A New Chinese Year for Gramercy at New York Hotelier
the ultimate insider's guide—special rates, offers and news, direct from new york's best luxury hotels.

When checking out the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Restaurant page, you’d never know about all of the gossip and speculation flying around (Page Six, Eater, NYSun, HotelChatter to name a few).

Originally Alan Yau, famed celebrity chef, was going to open the Park Chinois at Gramercy Park. Well, that fell through (although there appear to be no hurt feelings) and now the website references a Winter 2007 opening … but we’ve heard from a source that it will be Spring 2007.

What everyone can agree on is that Gramery Park will definitly have a gourmet Chinese restaurant and will be open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, dim sum, Chinese high tea, dinner, and late night cocktails - once it opens.

In the meantime, tide yourself over by enjoying the Jade Bar and Rose Bar -
